Psychotherapy with TLC...

About Me

From a young age I have always wanted to help people and often found I was the person friends or work colleagues would come to when they were struggling emotionally. I’ve always been patient and understanding and not many things shock or surprise me. I have always had a capacity to put myself in other’s shoes and truly try and understand how things might feel for them and to never be judgmental of people even when I have seen them at their worse.

My philosophy is that we are all human, we make mistakes but ultimately we all do the best that we can with the tools life has given us. Some of us have been blessed with more tools than others but there is still room and time to learn about ourselves and learn more tools to get us through life. Hopefully this is where counselling can help and having overcome my own issues in life, I believe counselling, whilst not a magic wand, can transform or simply improve people’s lives and help them lead a more fulfilling and authentic life.

I regularly attend supervision with a fully qualified and experienced supervisor which keeps my work ethical and safe. I also regularly attend courses to keep my knowledge and experience current and up to date.
